Evaluation of The Confrontation

I held a bunch of roles in The Confrontation: Location Scout, SFX Makeup, co-director, co-editor co-camera operator. I fulfilled this by finding the locations for us to film in, doing all the makeup involving fake blood, helping direct, edit and film scenes.

We had good use of lighting and props, as well as a nice use of the phone footage that was filmed on a specific app. We also had a good use of speed changes.

One of our most obvious issues was the shaky camera work when we could have used a tripod, another issue was the almost loss of a large amount of footage because we did not upload the footage before handing the SD card back, however, we got lucky and the SD was rescued by Kirsten.

We learned that we need to edit sound better so it fits the scene. we also earned that there were some abrupt transitions used.

Next time, we plan to have better use of tripods or perhaps even the steadi-cam. As well as better editing when it comes to sound and losing any abrupt transitions.
